With the beginning of the Dragon season just around the corner, Sparky and some of his FireDancer friends made their way into Penn Station over
the weekend to meet some of their biggest fans. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Sparky and one of the new 2008 FireDancers were on hand to greet
all their fans who were passing through Penn Station near the Amtrak terminals. Along with signing some autographs and taking pictures with the
fans, Sparky and the Fire Dancers also distributed the Dragon’s free new game day newspaper, The Huddle, which features some great stories and
insights into what some of the Dragon players have been up to during the off season as well as a look on what is sure to be a terrific season for

The New York Dragons staff along with WR Kevin Swayne and Sparky the Dragon, were out enjoying the holiday festivities with fans at the Roosevelt Field Mall. The Dragons set up a kiosk to showcase the fast paced, fan-friendly entertainment of arena football and give fans the chance to win FREE SEASON TICKETS!!

The New York Dragons and Lynbrook North Middle School teamed up for the debut of the "PASS It On" Middle School Assembly Program. Dragons WR Kevin Swayne spoke with the students on how important teamwork is in sports, the classroom and life in general. Students then had the opportunity for a Q&A with Swayne, where many intelligent and well thought out questions were directed toward him and the Dragons staff. Autographs were given by Swayne and he presented school principal, Dr. Robertson with a commemorative Dragons football for the schools trophy case. Special thanks to Dean Beyrer and Firedancer Doris for helping make this event a success.
