NEW YORK DRAGONS RADIO

Catch all of the Dragons action this season on the 1050 Dragons Radio Network with Peter Schwartz and Wayne Morris. Most games will be carried by 1050 ESPN New York. In the event of conflicts, some games will be heard on WLIR 107.1 FM. All broadcasts will be streamed live on the web by going to www.1050espnradio.com and clicking on the listen live box. This season, Peter and Wayne will broadcast home games from section 302, so when you're at the game, stop by and say hi.

DRAGONS BROADCAST TEAM

  Peter Schwartz-Play by Play

Peter Schwartz returns for his seventh season as the radio play-by-play voice of the Dragons. He has also called Dragons games for SportsNet New York and Fox Sports Net. Peter co-hosts "This Week In The AFL" on Sirius Satellite Radio and is a columnist for arenafootball.com. He was selected by the AFL to do play-by-play for the national radio broadcast of Arena Bowl XX and Arena Bowl XXI. Peter is also an anchor and reporter for 1010 WINS Radio and Sirius NFL Radio. Previously, he was a reporter, anchor, and host for 1050 ESPN Radio and WABC Radio. Peter's other play-by-play experience includes the XFL's NY/NJ Hitmen and the MILL's New York Saints. Peter grew up just a touchdown pass away from the Nassau Coliseum and is a proud graduate of East Meadow High School. He also earned a degree in broadcasting from Buffalo State College. Peter currently resides in Wantagh with his wife Sheryl and their son Bradley.

  Wayne Morris-Color Analyst

Wayne Morris returns for his fifth season as the radio analyst for the Dragons. Wayne has been involved with the franchise since their inaugural season in 2001, where he served as the television color analyst for Fox Sports New York.The former Hofstra standout wide receiver enjoyed a four year AFL career. He played for the Connecticut Coyotes from 1995-1996 and with the New York City Hawks from 1997-1998. Morris played WR/DB in the AFL and collected 89 catches for 1000 yards and 12 touchdowns during his career. He spent the 2002 season as the offensive coordinator for the New Haven Ninjas of af2. Morris has also served as an analyst for Dragons telecasts on Fox Sports New York (2001, 2006, 2007) and SportsNet New York (2006). He co-hosts "This Week In The AFL" on Sirius Satellite Radio and is an "AFL Insider" for ESPN NEWS and arenafootball.com. He was selected by the AFL to be the color analyst for the national radio broadcast of Arena Bowl XX and Arena Bowl XXI. Morris lives in Queens with his wife, Michelle and their daughters, Olivia and Amanda
